Hey There
I am Halim, a CS graduate turned PM, I love brainstorming new ideas, bringing people together and getting stuff done.
I have a strong interest in system design, cryptocurrencies, Decentralization and the future of humanity.
I got interested in Product Management after attending a Google Develper Conference in India in Nov 2016 where I saw various Google PMs launching new features and talking about their projects on stage. Later that evening, I talked to a couple of PMs and discovered this is what I am meant to do :) Though I like coding once in a while for hackathons and projects, my heart really lies in thinking about problems to solve and architecting solutions. Being an extrovert and a public speaker throughout my school and college years, I found the role of a PM a natural fit for my personality, coupled with the fact that I spend more time exploring codebases and reading books/blogs than actually coding, I decided to intern at Pinssible Labs in Wuhan, China as a PM intern in the summer of 2016.
After graduating from college in 2017, while I was waiting for my China Work Visa to get approved, I was approached by a friend to help them build a social network for helping people become better version of themselves by sharing and discussing ideas for a better life. It sounded ike an exciting adventure, so I spend the next 20 months, getting deep into spirituality, mindfulness, meditation and meeting a lot of Gurus, Life Coaches and Vipassana practioners to build Ceekr
I also love doing Hackathons and have won a 3 out of 4 that me and my teammates participated. Because of the nature of a hackthon, rapid prototyping and building somethin within 48 hours is a super fun experience.
